Am 5. Juli bekamen die Klassen 6a und 6c im Rahmen des Englischunterrichts Besuch von der Amerikanerin Ellen, die zurzeit in Tübingen studiert. Der Besuch wurde über das Deutsch-Amerikanische Institut Tübingen (d.a.i.) organisiert.
Eleni und Dijona (6a) berichten über ihre Eindrücke:
“Hi guys, it’s Eleni and Dijona from class 6a and we wanted to tell you about Friday the 5th July. On Friday a girl named Ellen came to our class. She is from Oregon, a state in the US. She is 20 years old and she came to Germany for 3 months. Ellen lives in Tübingen at the moment and speaks a little German. She was really nice. She told us about herself and about Oregon. There are lots of differences between Oregon and Germany. Not many people live in Oregon and there’s a desert there. The photos from there looked really beautiful. Ellen told us about 4th July and how it is celebrated in America. We also asked lots of questions before she left. Thanks for visiting us, Ellen!”
